I first met the Mellow Mushroom 🍄 in Foley, Alabama several years ago and have been a fan ever since. I especially like the thin crust.
After hiking Laurel Falls and walking around Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, we were ready to “Mellow” out.
I started with a Tailgate Mellow Brew from our balcony seat overlooking the street. Smooth!My 10 inch thin crust sausage, pepperoni and mushroom pie was delicious. And, I had a piece left over for breakfast.This bear was made out of spark plugs. This dude captures the relaxed vibe of this spot.
Afterward, we got a milkshake from The Crazy Mason. It really is quite ridiculous. Check this out.
Peanutbutter was the theme. The Reese’s Pieces were stuck to the rim with Peanutbutter, two Reese’s Cups, Peanutbutter sauce…and oh, that whipped cream so thick it held the cups in place.
Heidi and I found a way to finish this spectacle. Thank goodness we were averaging 20,000 steps a day.
Armed with an iPhone 8 and average food budget, it is my mission to seek out and consume unique and delicious dining experiences and then share them with my friends and family.
