Francis and Mount: Crawfordsville

As a kid we would travel to Crawfordsville every summer to Milligan Park for an Indiana State reunion of my Mom’s sorority. These people are and we’re lifelong friends of the family. In a few occasions, we would play golf At the Crawfordsville Municipal Golf Course. ⛳️

As my son Lawyer is a 👮‍♀️ police officer in Crawfordsville, we had the chance to play the municipal course for the first time since the 1970s or maybe early 1980s. (Still not quitting my day job.)

Afterward, we had lunch at Francis and Mount in downtown.

I started with a “Freedom of Speach” 🍑 from Revolution Brewery in Chicago. Quite refreshing!
The 🥓 bacon was literally falling of if this 1/2 pound 🍔 burger and the fries were exceptional! When I asked what was on them the bartender said “Salt and pepper.

Crawfordsville has significant history. I haven’t even gotten to Lee Wallace. That will be a future blog.
